Flirting With The Troll

Sam and I visited the Natural Bridge again a few days ago and had a time. Sam lead a scary new route he called "Sweet Clover" sticking with the Billy Goat theme. The ice route was kind of hard. Sam is badass, always calm. I had a tough time following it. I would have certainly been gripped on lead for this rig. All his screws seemed good however.

After a few pitches of ice, we went over to the sport climbing side of the cave and Sam managed to hang-dog/link moves across the whole route we are calling "The Troll". This route is like 14 bolts long and overhangs for like 50 feet. Really sick climbing. I'm pretty sure I'll have to re-program my body over the next few months if I want to send this action.

We are getting psyched for our impending visit to Canukistan for ICE baby, ICE!!
